Meghan Markle and Prince Harry forced to make last minute decision over nanny crisis
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly moved onto their third nanny in just six weeks for their new-born son Archie Harrison. Royal Editor for the Daily Mirror, Russell Myers, warned the couple they would have to “step up” their search for a permanent nanny. It comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced plans to travel to Africa this autumn.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, Mr Myers said: “They wanted the right person, whether it was a male or female, Meghan has said she preferred an American nanny.
“So, they have gone through three nannies in about six weeks.
“As I understand it, this is part of the agency they have hired to find them their permanent member of staff.
“Trialing a few people out, one was a night nurse, another was a day nurse an agency worker.

“But, they have really got to step it up now. Because they have got the big Africa tour in September.
“They are going to need someone who they trust in their household who is able to go on tour with them for this big tour of Africa.”
Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed plans to travel to South Africa this autumn, reaffirming speculation of their Africa tour.
But Meghan will leave the Duke to fly solo to three other African nations, carrying out visits to Malawi and Angola, as well as a short working visit to Botswana during the Sussex’s first trip as a family-of-three.
Meghan and Harry announced the news on their Instagram account “Sussex Royal”, saying the South Africa leg of the trip was at the request of the Government.
The post reads: “TRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn.
“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi and Angola.
