Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attacked in brutal Mike Graham rant – ‘People are fed up!’

The talkRADIO host was discussing the upcoming royal wedding between Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi with the Evening Standard’s Royal Editor Rob Jobson, when he unleashed a brutal attack. Mr Jobson fiercely defended the broadcasting of royal weddings but Mr Graham was not convinced.

Mr Graham said: “People are fed up with Harry and Meghan even though they might want to be involved in criticising them and they might read stories about them.

“I don’t think they want to actually watch them doing anything.”

Mr Jobson replied: “Well the thing is for that royal wedding the numbers were absolutely through the roof.”

The talkRADIO host argued: “Yeah they were but that was before everybody got to know them.”

Mr Jobson fired back: “Maybe but the thing is people like to look at wedding photographs, they like to watch a wedding.

“I do think that if somebody took it up the figures would be pretty good and also what the bride is wearing, who the guests are.

“Even if they are just rubbernecking it’s why over the years magazines like Hello or whatever have existed with weddings and looking into people’s homes.

“So I wouldn’t be surprised actually if a story does come out that someone will take it up or someone will do an extended show on it and probably do quite well.”

Last week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas photo of baby Archie wearing a knitted hat sparked a surge in sales for a community knitting enterprise in New Zealand.

Baby Archie spent his first Christmas with parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Canada, as the pair enjoyed a break from royal duties.

Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland joined them for the festive season.

The couple shared an adorable photo of their son Archie wearing a knitted hat with fans to bring in the New Year.

The hat was from Make Give Live, which aims to tackle loneliness and improve mental health, as well as donating a hat to someone in need in New Zealand for each one bought.

Make Give Live has received over 450 orders since the photo was posted, in a normal month they would sell 45 hats.

Meaning the ‘Archie effect’ has led to 10 times the number of orders they would get in a whole month.

The New Zealand firm posted on Instagram saying: “We are so happy to see that the gorgeous little Make Give Live hat that Archie got before he was born has kept his head warm this year.

“Beautiful NZ Merino in the cutest ever style, even better is that his beanie has ensured that the head of someone in real need in NZ was kept warm too. Go Archie!”
