Meghan and Prince Harry are joining the 24-hour global broadcast of Global Citizen Live, an event aiming at pressuring G7 countries and the European Union to share COVID-19 vaccines with the rest of the world in the name of vaccine equity. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will take part in the live event on Saturday 

The live will be broadcasted from Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park – a city Meghan said to love in a post shared on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.

News of Meghan and Prince Harry’s attendance at the event was shared by Global Citizen, an organisation which works towards defeating poverty worldwide and safeguarding the environment from the climate crisis.
