Meghan and Kate’s relationship getting stronger – ‘They have more in common now’
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, dated Prince William for nearly a decade before they married at Westminster Abbey in 2011, meaning she has spent almost half of her life in the public eye. She is now mother to Prince George (who will turn six tomorrow), Prince Charlotte, 4, and one-year-old Prince Louis. As well as being a parent to three children, the Duchess of Cambridge has also managed to balance her time with them alongside championing causes and charities that are close to her heart.
But the pressure has been particularly heavy on the shoulders of Meghan Markle, who only began dating Prince Harry three years ago.
They married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018 – a lavish ceremony that was watched by tens of millions of people around the world.
Meghan then gave birth to their first child – Archie Harrison – in May, although details around this event and the subsequent christening were kept secret.

However former actress Meghan left her friends, family and career in Hollywood to start a new life in England with Harry.
An insider explained to PEOPLE how the Duchess of Sussex had so many aspects to juggle preparing for life within the Royal Family, “all while living in a fishbowl”.
The royal source said: “She pretty much arrived in the UK and went straight into learning how to be a royal,” says an insider.
“Moving to a new country is not an easy thing. Then you multiply that it’s the royal family and comes with thousands of years of pomp and circumstance.
“Here she was planning her wedding, which anyone who has done it knows how stressful that is, while also immersing herself in a new country, a new family, a new life, all while living in a fishbowl.”
Speculation has been rife for months of a feud between Meghan and Kate at a time when the world expected them to be “best friends, but a royal source told PEOPLE their relationship is “strengthening”.
Earlier this month, the Duchesses both attended a polo match that pitted their husbands Harry and William against each other.
It was also the first time George, Charlotte and Louis had been seen together publicly with their two-year-old cousin Archie.
Last week, the Duchess were pictured together laughing and joking at the Wimbledon tennis championships – just as they did at last year’s tournament.
Royal author Robery Lacey told PEOPLE: “Coming from different backgrounds, I think, they have more the makings of a team than people imagined.
“And they have a common interest as partners to these two men who are so crucial to the monarchy, along with their children.”
The royal insider added: “They’re each a little more relaxed. They have more in common now.”
