Harry and Meghan making ‘moves’ for Archewell says expert

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have appointed activist, lawyer and entrepreneur Mandana Dayan to the position at their charitable organisation. Ms Dayan said she was “inspired” by Harry and Meghan, who founded Archewell in 2020 after quitting royal duties.

She told Fortune: “I am so inspired by the vision and unwavering dedication of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to create a more united, truthful, safe, and equitable world.

“I am thrilled to build upon our shared mission to drive systemic cultural change.”

Ms Dayan started her role in June.

She is responsible for overseeing growth strategy and day-to-day operations at Archewell.

Ms Dayan, who is known for founding the I am a voter movement, reports directly to the Sussexes.

Harry and Meghan are currently on parental leave following the birth of their daughter Lili in June.

But the couple, who ended royal duties last year for a new life in California, are expected to return to work shortly.

Royal biographer Omid Scobie recently claimed the Sussexes have a “very busy period” ahead.

Speaking last month, Mr Scobie told Good Morning America: “We saw them jump from one big project to the next especially when they moved over to the US but they’re on parental leave at the moment, enjoying that important family time from home.

“But we are about to enter a very busy period for the couple when they do return to work.

“We will see those first projects from Spotify, the Netflix project coming out and of course their own work from their charitable organisation Archewell.”

It comes after Mr Scobie said Harry and Meghan were entering “the era of visibility” and were now in the “thrive chapter”.

He told US magazine People: “They’re a couple who do very well in those moments of human interaction.

“They need to be on the ground.

“They say that the proof is in the pudding, and what we are about to see is that pudding.”

The Sussexes quit as working royals in March 2020 and are now living in a mansion in Montecito with their two-year-old son Archie and daughter Lilibet Diana.
