One student shared the maths tutor’s cruel – but very funny – joke at their expense.

She told Reddit says she was looking at course materials listed online.

And one of the document names stood out – because it said “Exam answers not for students”.

Not believing her luck, she opened the file and expected to be greeted with an easy route through her course.

But that was not quite what she received.

He says: “Looking through all the course materials, I noticed at the bottom it says ‘exam answers not for students’ and I’m wondering is this a mistake? So I click on it…”

“My stats professor really did this to us,” she captioned the Tik Tok video.

You probably know what’s coming next, right?

Yeah, she ended up being Rickrolled.

Rickrolling is when you troll someone on the internet by linking to the music video for Rick Astley’s 1987 hit song “Never Gonna Give You Up.” It is, by far, the most popular example of bait-and-switch linking.

“I respect that,” one Redditor replied.

“The perfect teacher doesn’t exist…” joked a second.

And another responded with: “I have a rickroll detector on my Chromebook that puts a picture of Rick Astley next to any link that has Rick at the other end of it. If you have a Chromebook I’d recommend protecting yourself from being “gottem’ed””
