Manhunt for purple-haired attacker after woman punched while walking her three dogs

The incident happened in Ipswich. According to local law enforcement reports, the assault took place on Wednesday, February 2 at around 8.20 am.

The victim was punched by another female pedestrian when she was walking her three pets near the churches in Cauldwell Hall Road.

The attacker, sporting distinctive features is described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, with dyed black/purple hair and wearing a brown duffel coat.

Anyone who saw the incident or who has information, images or footage which could help the inquiry should contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number: 37/6808/22.
