A young man has died after being stabbed near a children’s playground in the middle of a housing estate.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was attacked in the early hours of this morning in Telford, Shropshire.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene close to Millennium Village but he was pronounced dead there a short while later.

Two men, aged 21 and 30, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
