The 82-year-old man who was with his elderly wife were walking their dogs in a field near the iconic Ribblehead viaduct shortly before 2pm yesterday. 

It’s understood that the couple disturbed the cattle, who had calves with them with the man suffering serious injuries before dying at the scene.
