Man arrested after boy is seen driving lorry down motorway in Northern Ireland

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after a young boy was filmed driving a lorry down a busy motorway in Northern Ireland.

Footage shared on Snapchat shows the child sitting in the driver’s seat while clutching the vehicle’s large steering wheel.

In the footage, a man sat on the passenger side of the vehicle says off-camera: “You alright there lad?”

The child replies while driving: “Yeah.”

A car is seen overtaking the lorry as the short video comes to an end.
