Man, 29, stabbed to death in east London
Police have begun a murder inquiry after a 29-year-old man was stabbed to death in Hackney, east London.
Officers were called to Frampton Park Road just before 2.45pm on Friday.
The victim was taken by ambulance to an east London hospital where he died of his injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
Witness Dean Saliba, 40, said he was told the victim had been “stabbed in the back”.
Mr Saliba added: “He was having a seizure when I arrived and there was a lot of blood.”
A local woman, who gave her name as Hannah, said she had heard that emergency services performed open-heart surgery on the victim.
She said she had gone to school with the victim and described him as a “decent young man”.
Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was found with stab injuries about half a mile away on Wilton Way.
He is in a stable condition in hospital.
Scotland Yard said a man had been arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH.
