Man, 23, fighting for life after attack outside nightclub

A 23-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries after an attack outside a nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Huddersfield shortly before 4am after an assault was reported.

The man was found unconscious outside the Revolution Bar and police say he had suffered critical injuries.

He was taken to hospital following the incident at the venue in Cross Church Street.

A police cordon has been put in place and forensic investigators are examining the scene for evidence.

Yorkshire Police’s homicide and major enquiries team has launched an investigation into the attack.

A spokesman for the force said: ‘Police are appealing for information after a man suffered critical injuries outside licensed premises in Huddersfield.’

Police are urging for witnesses to come forward.
