South Wales Police has confirmed officers were called to an alleged incident on Tuesday afternoon. A 16-year-old boy has reportedly sustained serious injuries in the Caerau area of Cardiff.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police was called just before 4.55pm on Tuesday, January 4, following reports of a 16-year-old boy having sustained serious injuries in the Caerau area of Cardiff.

“Inquiries are continuing to ascertain the full circumstances behind the incident.

“Anyone who may have any information in connection to the incident is asked to contact South Wales Police quoting reference number 2200003684.”
