The M4 is closed westbound between J15 (Marlborough and Swindon) and J16 due to the accident, which involved two vehicles at 3.30am. It is not known if there are any injuries and the road is expected to be closed for hours this morning. Highways England tweeted: “#M4 J15 #Swindon towards J16 #RoyalWootonBassett. Traffic officers are on route to assist with road closure due to serious traffic collison. Please take care on approach.”
