A vehicle has burst into flames this morning on the M25, forcing the closure of three out of four lanes on the anticlockwise carriageway of the London Orbital Motorway near the junction to Heathrow Airport. Two lanes remain shut. Travel and traffic service Inrix said: “Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to car fire on M25 anticlockwise after J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow). Congestion to J15 (M4 Interchange). Lanes one and two (of four) are closed. Three fire engines are on the scene and have now extinguished the car.” Traffic conditions are expected to be back to normal between 9am and 9.15am today.
