Louis steals the show in Christmas family picture with George and Charlotte
Prince Louis has stolen the show in a photograph released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their family Christmas card this year.
The laughing two-year-old takes centre stage between his parents as the family-of-five perch on hay bales in front of a woodpile at Anmer Hall, their home in Norfolk.
A smiling Prince George, seven, rests an elbow on his father’s leg, while Princess Charlotte, five, sits on her mother’s lap.
The Cambridges and their children are all casually dressed for their Christmas photograph, which will be sent out to their friends, organisations and charities.
Photographer Matt Porteous took the image and has received royal commissions in the past from William and Kate, including capturing behind the scenes moments from Louis’ christening.
The release of the picture follows the rare public appearance of the Cambridges’ children who, with their parents, attended a London pantomime on Friday for key workers and their families.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have also released their Christmas card photograph showing the couple sat in a garden at their home in Birkhall, Aberdeenshire.
Charles, 71, and Camilla, 73, have spent much of the year in Scotland, where they isolated during the first lockdown.
The smiling couple are seen relaxing on a bench in the historic property’s organic garden in bright autumn sunshine.
The image was taken by a member of their royal staff and shows the couple casually dressed for the picture.
