London MURDER: Young man dead after being SHOT and STABBED in brutal attack
Police were called to the scene shortly after 9:30pm last night in Newham, east London. They also confirmed that the man was found with gunshot and stabbed wounds in Church Road, Manor Park. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
A crime scene currently remains in place in the area presently.
Met Police have also implemented a Section 60 stop and search order which will remain in place across the borough until 1:30pm tomorrow.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told the Daily Star: “A post-mortem will be scheduled in due course. A crime scene has been established and officers remain in the area conducting enquiries.
“The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been notified.”

As of yet, no arrests have been made.
The latest attack comes as London has continued to suffer from the horrific trend of violent crime spreading across the city.
Just yesterday three teenagers were rushed to hospital after they were found with stab wounds in north-east London.
Scotland Yard confirmed that four people were arrested in relation to the attack.
To combat the problem of violent crime across the country, Theresa May recently held a summit to discuss the rising knife crime rate in the UK.
Following that summit, Mrs May also proposed to give police more stop and search powers in a bid to stop the problem.
Home Secretary, Sajid Javid has also backed these proposals from Mrs May.
The pair want to give law enforcement stop and search powers without “reasonable grounds”.
