London horror: Boy, 13, stabbed ‘multiple times’ on way to school in capital

The 13-year-old boy was attacked on the Isle of Dogs in East London. The boy was knifed on Parsonage Street near Island Gardens’ DLR station. He is understood to be a pupil at George Green School and suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

The child was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

An Air Ambulance also landed at Millwall Park to support the paramedics.

Eyewitnesses say a schoolbag was within an area on Parsonage Street cordoned off with police tape this afternoon.

The shocking incident happened just before 9am.

A Section 60 – increasing stop and search powers for police – has been placed on the area.

Police have also been deployed to the victim’s school.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to get in touch via 101 quoting reference Cad 1321/29Apr.
