Police later confirmed a male had been found with a stab wound. 

They believe the attack took place at 3.50pm today. 

In a statement, they said: “Officers on scene in Mile End Rd after a male was found with a stab injury at approx 3.50pm.

“His injuries are not life-threatening.

“Crime scene remains in place.

“No arrests.”
