A man in his 50s, who suffered non life-threatening stab wounds, has been arrested on suspicion attempted murder. Police were called at 7:19pm to reports of a fight between the two men on Osborn Street, E1. Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene, along with the London Ambulance Service.

The men were taken to separate hospitals.

Officers from Tower Hamlets are investigating the incident.

The incident took place near Brick Lane in Shoreditch.

A normally bustling part of London on a Saturday night famous for its curry houses and late night bars is deserted.

A crime scene remains in place at the time of writing.
