Liverpool lockdown: Surge in new cases in last 24hours leaves Major fearing City clampdown

Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson said that the city had recorded 100 more positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Figures tweeted by the Mayor show that Liverpool had 80 positive tests per 100,000 people, higher than some areas such as Caerphilly, South Wales where extra measures are now in place.
