Lockdown restrictions in Lancashire will soon be lifted. a further 56 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Lancashire in the last 24 hours with 12 of the county’s boroughs reporting an increase in positive tests. But which restrictions are being eased and where?

Lockdown restrictions were imposed in parts of Manchester and Lancashire a month ago as cases of coronavirus began to spike.

But now the rate of new cases is beginning to ease in some areas across Lancashire according to new Public Health England data published on August 28.

Pendle registered by the biggest daily rise with 11 new cases while the tally in Blackburn with Darwen rose by 10.

Blackburn and parts of Pendle remain under stricter lockdown measures following a new announcement by public health experts today.

However, some areas of Lancashire will see restrictions ease from Wednesday, September 2.
