King Charles withdrew Prince Harry’s funding to get him ‘force him back to UK’

Meghan Markle’s dad wants to ‘put the past behind’ them

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been living in the US for the past three years, but before leaving the UK, there were some “discussions,” referred to as the Sandringham Summit.

The plan was for Harry to move to Canada – with Meghan and son Archie – and continue working in public service from North America and receive £700,000 ($860,000) in funding from the royal family for a “trial year.”

But, not long after, Harry “saw his funding dramatically withdrawn” in the summer of 2020, reports Vanity Fair.

After conducting a three-year investigation, Byline Times suggests they know the reason, that Harry made an accusation, in writing, accusing Prince William’s aide, Chris Jones, of selling stories to The Sun.

Harry was asked to take it back, and when he refused to, his money was taken away, reports The Daily Beast.

It’s been claimed, Harry wrote a letter to The Sun, accusing Prince William’s aide, Chris Jones, of leaking a story to The Sun, for payment. It’s suggested the story was about Harry and Meghan resigning as senior royals.

According to Byline Times, a well-informed source says:They threatened the removal of the funding to try and protect the royal household from a potential courtroom scandal with (Chris) Jones and (Dan) Wootton very publicly at the centre.”

The source adds: “The actual removal of the funding weeks later was about control, and designed to force Harry and Meghan to come back to the senior royal family in the UK.where their security would be assured.”

It appears to be greed with a side of greed, with the source suggesting: “The greater truth is that Harry and Meghan make better headlines than the King and Camilla or William and Kate. The idea of them still being in public service but abroad and out of the control of the institution and dominating the media narrative just couldn’t happen.”

It seems the funding was removed to get Harry to come home, says the Times’ source: “The removal of the transition funding, which Prince Charles knew was his son’s only lifeline to keeping safe, was considered a very effective way of trying to bring Harry and Meghan to heel in the UK. But it didn’t work.”

Just last month, Wooton was accused of posing under a pseudonym to coerce coworkers into sending him sexually explicit photos or videos for cash, reports BBC.
