King Charles ‘so sad’ Harry won’t meet him on anniversary of Queen’s death
King Charles Will Be ‘So Sad’ Harry Won’t Meet With Him
King Charles will “be sad” his youngest son Prince Harry won’t see him on the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
On September 8, various members of the Royal Family paid their respects to the late monarch, who died at Balmoral Castle last year.
With King Charles and Queen Camilla having private prayers and a moment of reflection in Scotland, Prince William and Princess Kate attended a special church service in Wales.
However, it’s believed Prince Harry won’t be meeting with his father or brother to remember the monarch despite flying over to the UK for a solo visit.
Speaking about a year of King Charles’s reign on Lorraine, it wasn’t long before royal expert Jennie Bond touched on the fractured relationship between them.

Praising the King, she said: “He’s a man also who feels things, so he feels things very deeply.
“He cares about people, about unity, harmony, community and family, which is one reason I think that underneath everything, he will be so sad that Harry is in the country today and is not going to see him as far as we know.”
Speaking about Prince Harry’s UK visit, Lorraine highlighted how he mentioned his late grandmother during his speech at the WellChild Awards.

Addressing royal expert Russell Myers, Lorraine was curious to see if he believed the family would put their differences aside and meet to remember Queen Elizabeth II.
She asked: “Is there any indication at all? Because there’s only about 100 miles between him and his brother in Wales today.”
Russell replied: “Well, the King’s staying in Scotland, the Wales’ are going to be in Wales and Windsor last night, as Jenny said, the King is very much about family.
“I’m sure William is as well, we know how much he values the normal upbringing of his children.
“But, Harry’s only here for 48 hours, then jetting to Germany for the start of the Invictus games tomorrow, so no time to try and mend those wounds I suppose.”
During the award ceremony on Thursday, Prince Harry told the audience he was unable to attend last year due to his grandmother falling ill as he rushed to Balmoral to be with her.
Speaking about his grandmother, he commented: “She would have been the first person to insist that I still come to be with you all instead of going to her, and that’s precisely why I know exactly one year on that she is looking down on all of us tonight, happy we’re together.”
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 9am
