The Duchess has previously been lauded for her love of the British high street, mixed in with some more high-end pieces.
However, this year, she has been seen wearing several dresses by Alessandra Rich, particularly those with a polka dot style
The Italian’s designs, including diamond-encrusted mini dresses, camouflage jackets and leather trousers, are also popular with celebrities such as Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber.
Despite this younger fanbase Ms Rich, said she is “grateful” for her popularity with the Duchess.
She told The Telegraph: “I am super grateful.
“The buyers know the collection is bigger so it is fine that the public mostly knows the more conservative pieces.
“The Duchess of Cambridge is such a style icon, I can’t ever say I’m not thrilled she likes my clothes.”
Her dresses come with a rather hefty price tag, often selling for about £1300 each.
Alessandra Rich started her own brand in 2010 aged 41, only a year older than Kate is now, and as such says she has never been too concerned about only appealing to the young.
She added: “I think Kate at 40 seems so much more confident than Kate at 20.
“I love my age, I love having clients who aren’t super young, because you know yourself better, you know what you want – this is true for everyone, so it must be true for the Duchess.
“I am just happy that what she wants at this stage of her life is my clothes.”

Ms Rich also revealed that she often adds an extra cheeky detail to her seemingly more conservative styles.
She said: “All my pieces are like this – they cover the arms or the legs but there’s always a split somewhere, or a body chain underneath.
“It is good to be a bit naughty.”
