Kate shows rare display of affection towards Prince William as they arrive in South Wales
Kate and Prince William have travelled to South Wales to visit organisations and businesses at the heart of local communities. While arriving at The Mumbles, the Duchess was spotted showing her affection for her husband.
Kate, who married William in April 2011, was spotted putting her hand on her husband’s shoulder while speaking to their chaperones at The Mumbles Lifeboat Station.
The pair also looked fondly at each other before starting their visit.
During their visit to one of the 220 RNLI stations located around the coast of the UK and Republic of Ireland, Kate and William boarded a lifeboat.
They also chatted to crewmembers about their vital work, as they provide a 24-hour rescue service along the coast.
This is the second joint engagement carried out by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this year.
In January, the couple visited Bradford, where they met with local business owners, job seekers and charities working with children and their relatives.
