Kate, Duchess of Cambridge spoke in on the What the UK thinks about the Early Years forum to launch the results of The Royal Foundation’s research. Her speech was streamed on the Early Years Forum site and allowed Kate to express her thoughts on how important nurturing children from young ages is. The Duchess insisted it was important for everyone to realise that it is scientifically proven that nurturing children during the first five years of a child’s life is crucial.
She added that it was critical to nurture children as best as possible as they will make up the next generation of adults.
She said: “People often ask why I care so passionately about the early years.
“Many mistakingly believe that my interest stems from having children of my own, and while I care hugely about their start in life, this ultimately sells the issue short.”
