In one such incident, Kate Middleton, who was very close to Prince Harry even before her wedding, gave a savage Christmas present to her future brother-in-law. According to the reports, Kate gifted Harry a ‘grow-your-own-girlfriend’ kit as he was single following a string of high-profile relationships.

And to make things even funnier, traditionally the family all sit down and open their Christmas presents together – which means the Queen would have been watching when Harry opened it up.

The two royals have spent a lot of time together over the years, both at public engagements and privately with William and the Cambridge children, and reportedly get on very well.

However, it’s not just Kate who had bought a cheeky gift for her brother-in-law, Meghan too surprised her brother-in-law, Prince William, with a funny present.

And according to the biography Finding Freedom, she nailed his gift – a spoon with the words ‘Cereal Killer’ on it.

The authors wrote: “Meghan’s biggest challenge was finding the perfect novelty gifts to amuse her new extended family.

“At least one of her gifts was a huge hit—a spoon for William that had ‘cereal killer’ embossed on the shallow bowl end of the utensil.”

Members of the Royal Family open their presents on Christmas Eve and there is reportedly one rule when it comes to presents – the cheaper and cheekier the better.

The Queen is all set to enjoy a ‘new normal’ Christmas this year – and may even appear in public for the first time since early autumn, after receiving the go-ahead from her doctors.

The 95-year-old monarch has either been resting or undertaking only “light” desk duties following a mystery health scare earlier this year.
