Kate Middleton surprise: Duchess takes Prince Louis to weekly Monkey Music sessions
The revelation was made by the Mail on Sunday. The sessions cost £12. There are several events across the country but for security reasons the one attended by Kate and Louis cannot be revealed.
The classes are led by a monkey puppet.
Mums are asked to sing and dance with their babies.
They hold scarves whilst dancing around the rooms.
The Monkey Music website says: “Trusted by parents since 1992, there are 4-stages of classes, tailored specifically to the needs of babies, toddlers and pre-school children between 3 months and 4 years of age.”
The website says that children learn 500 songs during the programme.
Louis was born on April 23 last year.
He was given the name Louis Arthur Charles.
His first name is believed to be to honour Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, the uncle of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Earl was killed by an IRA bomb in 1979.
Both Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge and his and Kate’s eldest son Prince George have Louis as a middle name.
Arthur is also one of William’s middle names.
Charles honours Louis’s grandfather, Charles, Prince of Wales.

Louis is fifth in the line of succession.
He is behind his elder sister Princess Charlotte and ahead of his uncle Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
Previously, Louis would have been ahead of Charlotte due to male preference primogeniture.
This meant males born in the line would overtake their sisters.
In 2015, the Succession of the Crown Act 2013 came into force, replacing male preference primogeniture with absolute primogeniture for births after October 28 2011.
Kate married William in 2011.
Due to William’s place in the line of succession, he is likely to become Prince of Wales and King.
Kate is set to become Princess of Wales and then Queen consort.
The Cambridge’s met at university.
They both studied at St Andrew’s.
Kate read history of art whilst William graduated with a degree in geography.
Upon graduation, William said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at St Andrews and I shall be very sad to leave.
“I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has made my time here so enjoyable.
“I have been able to lead as ‘normal’ a student life as I could have hoped for and I’m very grateful to everyone, particularly the locals, who have helped make this happen.”
