Kate Middleton pregnant: The subtle sign Kate and Wills may be expecting baby number four

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, 37, and Prince William, 37, have had a busy time since they returned from their recent tour of Pakistan. The future King and Queen Consort attended Remembrance Day events with the Royal Family at the weekend before embarking on engagements of their own this week.

Kate stunned in a bright purple Oscar De La Renta skirt suit as she attended the opening of a children’s hospice in Norfolk today.

While the Duchess looks as slender as ever, she has been swamped by pregnancy rumours in recent months and an upcoming engagement chimes in with her previous pregnancies.

On Monday Prince William and Kate will attend a glitzy black-tie event in London.

The Royal Variety Performance will be held at the Palladium Theatre on November 18.

The evening raises money for the Queen’s Royal Variety Charity and has a very special place in the Cambridges’ hearts.

That’s because at the two Royal Variety Performances they have attended Kate has been pregnant.

In 2017 she was expecting little Prince Louis, one, and in 2014 she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

While Kate’s attendance at the event alone is no sure sign she is expecting, there is no doubt the night marks a special time in her mind.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes recently slashed the odds on Kate and William having a baby next year.

The bookmakers put Kate at 6/1 to announce a pregnancy before the end of the year.

The evening will also be a chance for William and Kate to shine as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry prepare for a six-week break away from official duty.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “With Harry, Meghan and Archie avoiding the limelight there will be a good deal of interest in William and Kate’s activities.

“William recently opened a new apprenticeship house for Centrepoint, the homeless charity supported by Diana, which has just celebrated its 50th anniversary.

“On Monday 18th November William and Kate will attend the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, they previously attended in 2014 when she was pregnant with Charlotte and in 2017 when she was pregnant with Louis.

“Expect considerable coverage of them with the celebrities performing this year which will include Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Emilie Sande and the cast of Mary Poppins.”

Mr Fitzwilliams claims the focus will now be on William and Kate during Christmas at Sandringham with Meghan and Harry out of the picture.

He added: “There will also be their traditional appearance with other members of the royal family at St Mary Magdalene’s Church on the Sandringham Estate on Christmas morning.”

According to Mr Fitzwilliams it will be beneficial for Prince William and Kate to get more coverage following a “divisive year.”

He added: “This will as usual get global coverage as we move towards the end of a year which has been a divisive one for Britain but during which, as the future King and Queen Consort showed in their recent politically sensitive trip to Pakistan, they are admirably equipped to cope showing dignity, commitment and charm.”

Kate and Wills will spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Queen and other Royal Family members.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the festive season in the US with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
