Kate Middleton news: When will we next see Kate and Prince William? Engagements revealed

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William have been spending quality time with their young family this week as Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoy half-term away from school. However come March the couple have a busy few weeks of engagements ahead.

The week-long break from royal duties may be welcome to Kate and William as the pair have had a busy few weeks of royal engagements.

Prince George, six, and Princess Charlotte, four, have a week away from school for February half term, heading back to class on Monday, February 24.

The pair attend Thomas’s private school in Battersea, West London with George in Year 2 and Charlotte in the Reception class.

Typically the Cambridges spend the school holidays together as a family, either skiing abroad or staying at their Norfolk country home Anmer Hall.

When will we next see Kate and Prince William?

Despite being on a break from royal duties, Kate took some time out to ask Kensington Royal’s 11.2 million Instagram followers to take part in her #5BigQuestions on the under-fives survey.

The couple also revealed their next royal engagement via social media, with the Kensington Royal Twitter account saying the pair would be out next week.

The tweet read: “On Tuesday 25th February The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a special performance of @DearEvanHansen in aid of The Royal Foundation.

“Mental health is a key priority for The Royal Foundation, which has developed initiatives such as @giveusashout and @heads_together.”

Dear Evan Hansen is playing at the Noel Coward Theatre, and Kate and William will meet cast members after the performance.

The show is about a boy who suffers from social anxiety and his struggle in a world which provokes his anxiety.

The play has been praised for helping teenagers speak out about mental health.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are both heavily involved with mental health charities and have previously met with cast members from Dear Evan Hansen.

At a launch for the mental health text service Shout – which Kate and William set up with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry – the London production’s Marcus Harman performed at a volunteer celebration.

Prince William is also promoting Heads Up, a campaign which uses football as a way for sports fans to speak out about mental health.

William and Aston Villa footballer John McGinn spoke earlier this month to “kick off a conversation” on mental health.

Of why William has focused on football and mental health he told the Aston Villa midfielder: “We felt we could use the power of sport and really elevate mental health to another level, and allow people to have that conversation and allow people to understand and be educated a little bit more that it’s okay to talk, and also it’s okay to not be okay.”

Kate too has focused on mental health in her 5 Big Questions on the under-fives survey.

She has spoken about the importance of spending time outside and the positive impact this can have on children’s mental health and wellness.

Kate will also be out and about on Wednesday, February 26, at a SportsAid event in Stratford taking part in an event which honours parents and guardians of children who have had success in sport.

Then for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge March will be a jam-packed month of engagements.

The couple will travel to Ireland for three days between March 3 and 5, then on March 9, they will attend Commonwealth Day commemorations with the rest of the Royal Family.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are scheduled to return to the UK for Commonwealth Day for the first time since agreements were made on their exit from the royal fold.

St Patrick’s Day on March 17 may be another time William and Kate are spotted, as they usually visit the 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ base in Hounslow, London around the feast day.
