Kate Middleton makes surprising revelation about youngest son Prince Louis on his birthday

It has been revealed that Kate has joked that Louis is the only one of her children that “looks like her”. In the new pictures released to mark the young prince’s birthday on Thursday, many noticed the resemblance between Louis and his mum Kate.

Apparently the duchess has openly acknowledged that Louis looks like his mother, according to a source.

The insider told People magazine: “Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate,

Before adding: “She loves it and thinks it’s very sweet, she often jokes that he’s the only one of her kids who actually looks like her!”

It comes as Kensington Palace posted five images of the young prince as he played arts and crafts at the family home in Norfolk.

The young prince was pictured smiling from ear to ear as he played with rainbow colour paint.

Another two photos were later uploaded, where Kate joined in the “Instagram Vs Reality” trend that is used on social media.

Princess Charlotte has often been compared with her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, however, Louis is reported to have the Middleton genes, some even say he looks like Michael Middleton, Kate’s father.

Prince Charles contracted the virus but has now recovered from it.

He and his wife Camilla remain in isolation at their Balmoral estate in Scotland.

Over on the Royal Family’s Instagram account Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and their two children also joined the celebration.

In the clip, Prince Edward says: “From all of us, just a huge thank you to so many of you working on the frontline.

“We really appreciate it. Keep up the fantastic work.”

It comes as Kate and William are said to be making the most of their time at Anmer Hall with their children before duties ramp up following Meghan and Harry’s departure.

Online magazine The Talko reported: “There are definitely some benefits to moving up in the ranks, like having access to income from the Duchy of Cornwall.

“But not all of the changes will be fun for Prince William and Kate.

“They love spending time with their family in Anmer Hall, which was a wedding present from the Queen herself.

However, once lockdown is lifted it is expected the couple will return to Kensington Palace to resume their royal workload.
