The Duchess of York visited key workers near to her Wiltshire home where she and Prince Charles are believed to be spending some of their time now they are back in England. Camilla put on a stylish display in a monochrome checked dress. However, many royal fans suspected her outfit was inspired by the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Cambridge made history when they carried out their first joint engagement back in June.

Now, it looks like the two women are still influencing each other in terms of style.

Camilla arrived to visit local key workers in Swindon on Monday, in a dress strikingly similar to the dress worn by Kate.

Kate, 38, wore a blue Beulah dress on Sunday as she visited a hospital in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, for afternoon tea with staff and volunteers.

On Monday afternoon, Camilla donned a darker blue dress with a white collar for an engagement in Swindon, as she met emergency workers who have helped in the coronavirus response.

Camilla was also wearing a Fitbit on the visit.

Royal fans were quick to notice the similarities in the outfits and were also quick to compliment the Duchess of Cornwall on her choice.

“She looks really pretty in that dress @ClarenceHouse.” said one user.

“I love her dress!” added a second.

Camilla spent the visit thanking frontline health and emergency workers for their efforts in working tirelessly through the pandemic.

The royal said everyone will have to keep their “fingers crossed” the country does not experience a second wave of coronavirus.

At the end of the visit to Swindon fire station, the duchess told the group: “Just before I go, I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done throughout this pandemic – I don’t know, we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we don’t see the second wave.
