Kate has become known for taking pictures of her family to mark special occasions. For Father’s Day, she shared pictures of her family to honour the Duke, who was also celebrating his 38th birthday. But many fans did not realise she was the first royal mother to take her own pictures of her children. An Instagram user commented on that first picture: “Soooo beautiful!!!! I love this picture.”

Another user wrote: “How sweet.

“Prince George is lovingly looking at his baby sister.

“Always treasure those moments.”

Kensington Palace also released pictures of Charlotte at the age of six months.

A user commented on this one: “She is beautiful.

“Looks like her mommy.”

Another said: “So beautiful.”

While yet another commented: “So cute.”

Kate has an honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society.

It is perhaps fitting Kate first met her husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge at university whilst studying a subject rooted in visual arts.

Both Cambridge’s initially studied history of art at the University of St. Andrews’.

William later transferred to geography, however.

Kate has continued to take photos of her children since.

Royal fans have often taken the time to compliment Kate for her images.

Indeed, her first one of Prince George with Charlotte was no different.
