Kate Middleton and Prince William behind closed doors: Couple’s shock royal habit exposed

Even if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge live in a palace, it does not necessarily mean they are not living a life like everyone else. Last month, the future King and Queen were seen getting off a £73 FlyBe plane at Aberdeen Airport along with their three children and nanny. A passenger on the plane said that nobody knew down-to-earth William and Kate were on board.

They told the Daily Mail: “The family were sat right at the front. I fly this route all the time and we were none the wiser. No one knew they were on the flight.”

William was pictured carrying a number of bags as he led the way off the plane with George and Charlotte to their waiting cars.

Kate held little Louis as she walked alongside the family’s nanny Maria Borrallo.

It is no secret that the Cambridges do a lot of things for themselves and try to live a relatively normal life.

For example, in 2017, during an interview with BBC Radio 1, the Duke and Duchess revealed something not exactly regal that they often do behind closed doors.

When asked by host, Scot Mills, whether they are allowed to order takeaway, Kate immediately answered: “Yes!”

Prince William quickly added: “Absolutely!

“It is very important.

“It is a real conundrum when it comes to pizza or curry.

“I am not so good with the spicy food.”

However, the Duke added: “It doesn’t usually get ordered to the Palace.

“We tend to go and pick it up – not ourselves.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not the only ones enjoying a takeaway from time to time.

Her Majesty The Queen also orders food, but only when she is staying at Balmoral.

The Queen heads to the Scottish retreat each summer and has been known to order from the local eateries on special occasions.

According to a royal source, the Queen always chooses the same takeaway when she orders.

The source told Fabulous Digital: “She very occasionally treats herself to fish and chips when at Balmoral.

“A footman is despatched to get it from the local town of Ballater.”
