Queen has warned William and Harry that divorce was not an option
Alongside Prince Charles and Princess Anne, three of the Queen and Prince Philip’s four children have all gone through a divorce.
According to a 2006 report in the Sunday Express, Her Majesty was not overly happy about this.
She reportedly warned William and his younger brother Prince Harry that “enough was enough” in terms of royal divorces.
A Buckingham Palace aide told the Sunday Express: “The Queen is the head of the Church and so from a point of principle she is opposed to royal divorces.
“However, she has witnessed the divorces not just of her sister Princess Margaret, but also those of her three eldest children.
“She now feels, to put it bluntly, that enough is enough.
“She does not want to name names, but she is adamant that there are going to be no further royal divorces during her reign.”

Kate will have a ‘low-key 40th’ to avoid being compared with Meghan says expert
Unlike Meghan’s VIP celebrations, Royal expert Duncan Larcombe expects Kate to have a ‘deliberately modest’ birthday.
Kate Middleton turns 40 on January 9, but Mr Larcombe says she won’t try to copy what Meghan Markle did for her 40th birthday.
He told OK! Magazine: “Kate and William are not the sorts to go away to celebrate on their own and leave the kids at home.
“I think the same will apply to Kate’s birthday as it does to Christmas – it will be low key, and it will be focused entirely on the family.
“Long before they got married and long before they had children, it wasn’t unknown for William to whisk Kate away for her birthday, usually to the ski slopes but once or twice to the Caribbean.
“The first picture of the two of them kissing was taken when Kate was celebrating her birthday quietly with William at Klosters ski resort in Switzerland.
“But that was then, and it’s just not Kate’s style to want to throw a lavish party for friends and family.
“I can’t see her going on any VIP trips to posh West End restaurants either.”
Princess Diana’s astrologer predicts ‘awkward’ reunion between Prince Harry and the royal family
Debbie Frank told Hello Magazine: “Prince Harry begins the New Year with a New Moon on his Ascendant, eager to make his mark on the world.
“Yet the cosmos suggests a go-slow in the first month of 2022 so he needs to be patient.
“The Jubilee celebrations are a time when communication with his family counts and he feels awkward and out of step.
“This is followed by an incoming cycle of upheaval when Harry wishes to carve out even more of his own space. He’s in the mood to make radical decisions and liberate himself from anything he finds restrictive and he’s wanting to break through rather than toe the line over the next few years.
“Restless and craving independence, he’s full of surprises.”
