Kate stood on her own as she watched the Duke’s coffin pass her, which was being carried on a specially modified Land Rover hearse. Her husband Prince William walked behind the bespoke Defender TD 130 in military green, alongside other close relatives.
Prince Charles and Princess Anne followed the coffin on foot, followed by their brothers Edward and Andrew.
Behind them were Charles’s two sons William and Harry, with cousin Peter Phillips stood in between them.
All of the family members looked sombre as they steadily walked behind the coffin, all with their heads facing forwards.
Royal fans have been quick to praise Kate, who will one day become Queen when William ascends the throne.
The Duchess and the Queen’s husband shared a sweet link as Kate participated in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, which was spearheaded by Philip, as a young girl.
Following the death of Philip, Prince William released a statement which read: “Catherine and I will continue to do what he would have wanted and will support The Queen in the years ahead.”
