Kate and William’s favourite tipple – including £135 cocktail from ‘wild’ days

The Prince and Princess of Wales are just like us when it comes to enjoying a cheeky alcoholic drink from time to time, with one drink bringing them right back to their party-filled “wild” university days.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are known to be fans of wine, while William and Kate have a more diverse choice of favourite drinks.

The couple reportedly enjoy one student staple choice but they are also fans of one very expensive £135 cocktail.

In addition, they love one cocktail so much that they chose to include it at the wedding in 2011, giving their guests a chance to experience it.

Kate and William are known to have enjoyed a drink called ‘Crack Baby’, which was previously served at the now-closed West London club called Boujis.

The cocktail of choice is a perfect mix of champagne, vodka and passion fruit juice.

Prince William is also known to have let his hair down at university, spending time going out with fellow students.

Whilst out, he was known to have enjoyed sambuca shots, as well as a cocktail called ‘Treasure Chest’.

Served at a staggering £135 a pop, the cocktail is a blend of peach liquor, champagne and brandy.

The couple are now to known enjoy a more low-key drink, with their choices a bit more relaxed.

During an official engagement, the Princess of Wales has previously been spotted sipping a pint of Guinness.

When the pair visited the Ireland’s Guiness Storehouse’s Gravity Bar, the couple both enjoyed a pint, with William thanking the staff was a traditional Irish toast ‘Slainte’.

Kate is also known to enjoy a gin and tonic, with William sometimes bringing her one after their children have gone to bed.

The late Queen was also known to be a fan of gin, enjoying it with Dubonnet.

Served with a slice of lemon, she enjoyed two parts Dubonnet and one part gin with two ice cubes.

Also a fan of gin, King Charles reportedly enjoys his with tonic when he travels to Scotland.

Queen Camilla has previously spoken out about her love of wine, saying, “Well, first of all, I love wine, but secondly, my father was in the wine business, so I was brought up as a child drinking wine and water rather like the French.”
