Prince William and Kate will take a trip to the seaside next week to launch a new fund supporting mental health initiatives. The new Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to visit Scarborough, on the Yorkshire coast, next Thursday in a collaboration between the Royal Foundation and the Two Ridings Community Foundation (TRCF).

The Royal Foundation was a charitable endeavour established by the future monarchs, with projects revolving around conservation, the early years, mental health, and the emergency services.

Meanwhile, TRCF was founded to establish funds to tackle issues in North and East Yorkshire, such as rural suicide, poverty and the wellbeing of children.

Since it was set up in 2000, it has handed out £15million for local causes.
