Kate and William FINALLY meet Meghan Markle’s baby Archie Harrison

Kate and William have visited their nephew Archie for the very first time this afternoon at Meghan and Harry’s home, in Frogmore Cottage. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to have not met Archie until today, according to reports. The royals arrived at Frogmore Cottage shortly after Harry returned from Oxford, following a series of engagements. Royal correspondent Victoria Murphy confirmed the news, and said on Twitter: “I understand that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited their new nephew Archie today at Frogmore Cottage. The visit took place after Harry returned from a day of engagements in Oxford.”

Prince Harry visited the visited Oxford Children’s Hospital today in an emotional trip to meet patients, parents and members of staff, before touring the town and meeting local residents.

The Duke of Sussex gushed about his baby Archie as he spoke to one of the parents, saying how he “can’t imagine life without his son”.

Harry spoke to Amy Scullard from Aylesbury, whose son was remitted back to hospital after being diagnosed with testicular cancer at just two-years-old.

Ms Scullard revealed her conversation with Prince Harry, saying: “Harry asked me if she was over the stormy period as babies are supposed be grumpy for the first ten weeks – and she is.

“He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life. He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son.”

Excited residents cheered as the duke toured the ward, greeting patients, staff and royal fans along the sidelines.

Harry received a heartwarming gift from a royal fan, who gave the prince a teddy bear for his son Archie.

The prince spoke about the joys and perils of parenthood as he interacted with parents at the ward.

Christine George, 52, whose son James, 17, is having chemotherapy, said: “He said he had all this organised, but had a sleepless night last night – not the ideal preparation for his first day at work.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their son, Archie-Harrison Mountbatten Windsor on at 5.26am on May 6, weighing 7lbs 6oz.

Prince Harry made a heartfelt announcement outside Frogmore Cottage, hours after Meghan gave birth.

The Queen and Prince Philip were the first members of the royal family to meet baby Archie.

The Sussexes revealed his name on their Instagram account “sussexroyal”, along with a heartwarming photo of the Queen, Philip and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.

Archie was introduced to the world last week, as Harry appeared with his baby boy cradled in his arms while Meghan stood proudly by his side.
