Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William are planning to “work together” with US celebrity, Taylor Swift, according to a royal commentator. Daily Mail’s Charlie Lankston spoke about the royal couple reaching out to the pop star, who is known to be living in north London. She explained there could be more than a meeting in the works.

Ms Lankston dismissed rumours that the Cambridges had invited the singer and her British boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, for tea.

However she added: “We do understand that they have broached the idea of getting to know Taylor Swift a bit better.

“I don’t believe that they’ve already got a date in their schedule.

“I do believe that it is within the realm of possibility that we will see them working together in the not-too-distant future on a project.”

Ms Swift has actually met Prince William before back in 2013.

She attended a gala hosted by the Duke at Kensington Palace to raise money for homelessness charity, Centrepoint.

The pair even performed to the surprise of everyone there.

They sang Jon Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ with the man himself, who was also in attendance.

The interactions have drawn many comparisons to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex teamed up with Bon Jobia to record a charity single.

Proceeds from the track, ‘Unbroken’, went towards the Invictus Games Foundation.

Harry and Meghan’s celebrity friends have also helped them out with their new podcast.

For the Holiday Special of Archwell Audio, the couple were joined by Elton John, Tyler Perry, James Corden and more.

While introducing the guests, Meghan explained: “We thought, what if we can bring together some people that inspire us.

“These are people that we admire.

“We can get their thoughts on what they learned from 2020.”
