A photographer has shared some insight into the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s loved-up marriage. The royal pair, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021, appear to be going from strength to strength as they work and raise their three young children.

Chris Floyd, a photographer who captured the couple for their 10th wedding anniversary, revealed the royal pair are “just like any married couple”.

He said: “They were just like any married couple who seemed to just love being very happy in each other’s company. It was that straightforward.”

“I just said, ‘Look, this is your 10th anniversary, just be the couple that you are with each other and forget that I’m here. Just forget about me’.

“It was their home and I was made to feel welcome in their home.”

Mr Floyd said the couple welcomed him, and by the time the day was done, he felt like he had “known them for years”.

He continued: “It was just a real whirlwind of a day.

“The day itself was kind of just like a normal shoot day.

“It was like going to anyone else’s … I mean it’s not like anyone else’s house, but it was the same as going to someone else’s house.

“It was just a slightly grander version of most houses.”

Earlier this year, the couple returned to St Andrew’s in Scotland, where they met while attending university in 2001.

Prince William said: “It was here in Scotland — 20 years ago this year — that I first met Catherine.

“Needless to say, the town where you meet your future wife holds a very special place in your heart.”

Ten years later they married in the highest profile wedding ceremony of a generation, exchanging vows in front of millions at Westminster Cathedral in London.

The pair dated on and off for eight years before they tied the knot, and have shown a united front in public ever since.

The duke and duchess have returned to in person work following the lifting of lockdown restrictions – most recently attending COP26 in Glasgow, alongside other Royal Family members.

They now share three children together – future monarch Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
