Kate Middleton plays tennis with Roger Federer at Wimbledon

The Princess of Wales has been spotted alongside Roger Federer in the royal box at Wimbledon. The pair reunited after they went head to head in a rally as they took part in a behind-the-scenes look at the tennis tournament. In the video, the royal and the eight-time Wimbledon champion were put through their paces as they learnt what it takes to be one of the tournament’s prestigious ball bys or girls.

Princess Kate made a surprise appearance on the second day of the tournament dressed in a white and mind co-ord, onsisting of a white Bouclè and Georgette gown and £1,950 Balmain blazer.

Kate joined Federer and his wife Mirka as the tennis legend received a tribute on court one after retiring from the sport last year

The two were spotted chatting and laughing as they watched on during the Women’s Singles first-round match between Shelby Rogers of United States and Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

Earlier today the Princess was spotted watching British no1 Katie Boulter in her first match of the tournament. 

In typical British fashion spectators were seen sheltering unter giant umbrellas as the heavens opened and play was suspended for a short while. 

Katie, origainally from Woodhouse Eaves near Loughborough, won her first WTA Tour event in Nottingham last month and is the highest ranked Brit going into this year’s contest.

Last year he reached the third-round of the tournament, beating 2021 runner-up Karoline Pliskova.
