The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate went to extra lengths to ensure their relationship remained a secret. Royal experts Victoria Arbiter, Tom Quinn and Rebecca English discuss the difficulty of keeping their relationship hidden in Channel 5’s documentary William and Kate: Too Good to Be True?. The trio of royal experts all argued Prince William was well aware of the global interest into his love life from a young age.
Despite this, he insisted on taking steps to ensure he and Kate’s relationship was as hidden as possible.
During the documentary, Ms Arbiter said: “Kate and William would employ all the obvious tactics.
“They wouldn’t hold hands walking down the street.
“They would arrive at a party at different times.”
