Kate and Prince William delight royal fans with promise of big announcement ‘very shortly’
The promise came after a tweet was posted by Kensington Palace. It said: “Stay tuned for our first announcement of 2020 very shortly.” A globe emoji was used to follow up the tweet.
The Duke and Duchess will “break from tradition” with the festive news ahead of what is believed to be a busy 2020, a royal expert has claimed.
It comes as several patronages are expected to need new royal champions after the Queen’s turbulent year.
Royal fans speculated about the announcement in response to the tweet.
