Kate and Prince William both caught red-handed CHEATING in Mary Berry baking challenge
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge teamed up with the baking star for BBC programme A Berry Merry Christmas, which airs tonight. In the festive show, William and Kate compete to make meringue roulades.
But the competitive pair both bend the rules during the challenge.
William was helped by former Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain to roll his roulade “while Mary’s not looking”.
And Kate sprinkled icing sugar on her bake when the time was up.
Mary refused to pick the winner between William and Kate’s roulades, declaring it a draw.
She said: “It’s a draw. I don’t want to quarrel with either of you.
“Well done for being so sporting – I know you’re both very competitive.”
William and Kate made the meringue roulades for a party to thank staff and volunteers at charities and organisations working on Christmas Day.
The special programme gives an insight into the causes the Cambridges support.
Mary joins William and Kate on four royal engagements and she also shares some of her Christmas recipes.
In another clip, William revealed what his eldest son Prince George asked for this year in a letter to Father Christmas.
Speaking during a visit to homeless charity Passage, he told how George, six, loves drawing and football.
He said: “George has already written his list for Father Christmas. He loves his drawing, he’s a very good drawer.

“We might give him something to do with drawing or football. He’s loving his football as well.”
William is patron of the charity, which he first visited as a youngster with his mother Princess Diana.
He added that George supports Chelsea, despite him being an Aston Villa fan.
He said: “I try not to be too biased, I said you can support anyone but Chelsea, so naturally he supports Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, Kate talks about getting in the kitchen with George, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one.
Asked by Mary she does any cooking with her children, the mother-of-three said: “Yes, I really enjoy it.
“Again, for them to be creative, for them to try and be as independent as possible with it.
“Actually, one of the last things we cooked together was your pizza dough!
“We made pizzas with your pizza dough recipe.”
Kate added: “They loved it. Absolutely loved it.”
A Berry Royal Christmas airs on December 16 at 8.30pm on BBC One.
