Kate and Meghan to END royal rift claims as they are reunited at Wimbledon this year?

There have been reports of an apparent feud between the Cambridges and Sussexes since Meghan began her relationship with Prince Harry. Prince William reportedly advised Harry that he was heading into a relationship with Meghan much too quickly and at Wimbledon next week, royal fans could finally see whether the reports of a feud are true. The tennis tournament begins on July 1 which means that the tournament’s patron, Kate will be present.

Last year, in her role as the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club’s patron, Kate brought Meghan along with her.

In a clear message of solidarity, the pair were seen to be chatting amicably as they watched the day’s play.

More recently, Meghan and Harry split from the charity they shared with the Cambridges to set up their own foundation.

The Sussexes will break away from the Royal Foundation to set up their own charity by the end of the year according to reports.

The Royal Foundation was created in 2009 to focus on the causes closes to the Harry and William’s such as the armed forces, conservation and mental health.

In a statement from the Royal Foundation, it praised the work Meghan and Harry had carried out during their time with the organisation.

The statement read: “These changes are designed to best complement the work and responsibilities of Their Royal Highnesses as they prepare for their future roles, and to better align their charitable activity with their new households.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are incredibly proud of what they have achieved together through the Royal Foundation.”

Kate joined the charity in 2011 while Meghan became a part of the foundation shortly before her marriage to Harry last year.

One royal insider told Bazaar.com on the split: “This allows the Sussexes to do things exactly how they want.

“Their operating style is very different from the Cambridges and so having their own space to think as big as they like, working on a global scale, is perfect for them.

“This is their chance to stamp their own personality on their charitable work.”
