John Bercow warning: Farage reveals Commons speaker will find any way to ‘unravel’ no deal
Speaking on his LBC show, the Brexit Party leader argued he would no doubt be told by constitutionalists around the country that he is “wrong” to worry about John Bercow’s powers to prevent the next Prime Minister to prorogue Parliament in order to deliver Brexit. But Nigel Farage warned the House of Commons Speaker will “find some way” of unravelling the process in order to stop Brexit.
He said: “Oliver Letwin was suggesting last week that they’ve run out of procedures by which they could stop Brexit if the Prime Minister insists on keeping the law in place.
“Or even, effectively prorogue Parliament, dissolve Parliament, with the consent of the Queen.
“It just seems to me, I could be completely wrong, and no doubt constitutionalists will text and tweet and tell me that I am wrong, but it seems to me that somehow Parliament MPs and that Bercow chap would find some way of unravelling it.
“That is what I believe.”

It comes as Boris Johnson topped the second round of the Tory leadership contest with 126 votes against Jeremy Hunt’s 46 votes and Michael Gove’s 41.
But the real surprise of the leadership race tonight was International Development Secretary Rory Stewart.
Boris Johnson received eight more votes than at the end of the first round with 126, while Mr Stewart received 18 more votes than the first round, as he secured 37 votes.
Former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab was the only one to fail to make it through to the next round with just 30 votes.
Sajid Javid, who went through the next round with 33 votes, tweeted: “Thank you for your support! Looking forward to tonight’s debate with my colleagues and @maitlis.
“I can lead a Conservative Party which connects with new audiences and creates opportunities for all. #Teamsaj”
Meanwhile, a spokesman for Jeremy Hunt’s campaign said: “This is a solid result. It shows a steady step forward, which is exactly what we were expecting.
“It confirms that Jeremy is the best-placed candidate to take on Boris. He’s the only candidate who can unite the country and the party by delivering Brexit.”
