The Duchess of Cambridge’s brother has six dogs – spaniels Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna and Nala and golden retriever Mabel. And James took to Instagram to mark International Dogs Day in a sweet post.

The businessman shared a sweet clip of himself lying on the grass surrounded by his dogs.

He said: “The love from a dog is one of the most powerful types of love there is… Happy International Dogs Day #nationaldogday.”

The post prompted a string of comments from other Instagram users.

One wrote: “Beautiful unconditional love.”

Another commented: “Looks like bliss.”

A third agreed: “Absolutely nothing compares.”

Another added: “This is exactly how it should be or what’s the point of having them. Adorable.”

A fifth said: “Love this.”

James regularly updates his followers on his antics with his dogs.

Kate’s brother has previously opened up about how his pooches helped in his battle with depression.

He also runs a dog food business Ella & Co.

In a post on the Instagram page for Ella & Co earlier this week, James revealed a glimpse into his holidays with his dogs.

The entrepreneur shared a series of snaps of himself enjoying various trips with his pets.

In the caption, he said the “worst thing” about going away was being parted from your pets so he had written a blog about taking them on holiday with you.

James said: “The WORST thing about going on holiday is leaving the dogs behind…

“So my next blog might interest you as it’s all about bringing your dogs with you!!!

“Whether you’re off on a glamping staycation, heading to the coast or camping in the wilderness, my new blog should contain all the info you need to ensure a safe, fun and enjoyable holiday with your dog(s).”
