Ex-President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner have reportedly been called to testify on his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and role in provoking the Capitol riot.

Special counsel Jack Smith issued the subpoenas for the couple, two people with knowledge on the matter told The New York Times on Wednesday.

Ivanka and Kushner served as senior White House advisers to Donald during his presidency.

The report of the couple being subpoenaed comes two weeks after it was revealed that Smith called former Vice President Mike Pence to testify in the inquiry.
